Favorites

Save navigation shortcuts to commands, workflows, templates, and reports in your workspace.

Favorites are navigation shortcuts — bookmarks to workspace items you use often. Favoriting an item does not copy its content and does not bypass archive rules, permissions, or read-only session behaviour.

What you can favorite

In the current web app you can star:

TypeWhat the shortcut opens
CommandsLibrary command view (commandId deep link)
WorkflowsWorkflow detail page
TemplatesTemplate editor
ReportsReport editor

Variables, sessions, and library taxonomy nodes (categories, sections, groups) are not favoritable in the current app.

Favorites are scoped to the current workspace (personal or team). Team members only see favorites for content they can access under normal workspace permissions.

Add and remove favorites

  1. Use the star action on a supported item (command row, workflow header, template, or report).
  2. Open Favorites from the workspace sidebar to review your saved shortcuts.
  3. Choose Remove on a favorites card to delete the bookmark only — the underlying item is not deleted.

You cannot add a new favorite for an archived command from the library. Other item types follow the same permission and availability rules as their source pages.

Favorites page behaviour

The Favorites page groups shortcuts by type and supports:

  • Search across titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata
  • Type filters — All, Commands, Workflows, Templates, Reports
  • Command filters — risk level, tag, and category (when applicable)
  • Show archived — reveals archived bookmarks that are hidden by default

Summary cards count favorites in the current filter view.

Archived and unavailable targets

Favorites reflect the current state of the underlying item. They do not preserve deleted content or unlock archived records.

Remove archived or unavailable favorites when you no longer need the bookmark.

Commands from Favorites

For active command favorites you can:

  • Show / Hide a masked command preview (when copy is allowed)
  • Copy resolved or raw command text using the same library copy rules

Archived, unavailable, or copy-locked commands do not offer preview or copy actions from Favorites.

What favorites are not

  • Not a backup — archiving or deleting the source item affects what you can open.
  • Not a permission bypass — if you lose workspace access, the favorite becomes unavailable.
  • Not a session shortcut — favoriting a workflow opens the workflow definition, not an active session. Start sessions from the workflow or Sessions.
  • Core Workspace — dashboard, search, and sidebar overview
  • Command Library — command records and library structure
  • Workflows — workflow definitions, archive behaviour, and sessions
  • Sessions — preserved runs when a workflow is archived
