Marketplace

Install curated starter and operational packs from the WorkCheats catalogue.

The Marketplace is where you browse and install curated content packs — command libraries, workflows, templates, and related operational material prepared for WorkCheats workspaces.

Marketplace install is not the same as uploading a file in Import & Export. Marketplace content is copied server-side from published listings after editorial review. User uploads through Import Center remain always untrusted until you validate and confirm them.

Marketplace overview

  1. Open Marketplace from your workspace sidebar.
  2. Browse published listings — starter packs, curated libraries, and themed collections when available in your environment.
  3. Open a listing to read its description and install preview.
  4. Review the install preview and choose Install to copy content into your workspace.

Nothing is installed until you confirm after the preview. Recommendations and filters do not auto-install content.

Catalogue honesty (closed beta)

During closed beta:

  • Marketplace infrastructure (browse, detail, install preview, installed list) is active in the web app.
  • The live catalogue is still curated and limited — not an open third-party store.
  • Many starter and operational packs exist as editorial drafts until reviewed and server-published; do not assume every example pack in planning docs is already live in your workspace.
  • Premium paid catalogue listings and production billing checkout are not available yet.

Plan names, prices, and commercial labels elsewhere in the app are provisional during closed beta.

Curated and starter packs

  • Starter packs — onboarding-oriented libraries for new workspaces. See Starter packs.
  • Curated packs — themed operational collections for specific practice areas.

Curated means editorially prepared for WorkCheats — not automatic approval for your target environment. Always confirm scope and authorisation before use.

Installed content

After Marketplace install:

  1. Open Installed from the Marketplace area to see what you added.
  2. Installed content appears in Library, Workflows, Templates, Reports, or other areas depending on pack type.
  3. You can use, favourite, and organise installed content like workspace-native items.

Installed content carries Marketplace-installed provenance. Export is often restricted even after you edit items — see Export policy.

Installed content stays in your workspace until you remove or archive it according to app controls.

Scripts and commands are content

Commands, workflow steps, and scripts in Marketplace packs are documentation artifacts:

  • WorkCheats stores and displays them
  • WorkCheats does not execute them on your targets or in your shell

Review installed content before copying into live engagements.

Current

  • Browse published Marketplace listings and install curated packs into personal or team workspaces
  • Install preview before confirm; separate path from Import Center user uploads
  • Installed content management in the web app
  • Starter recommendations with saved preference and hard filters (see Starter packs)

Roadmap

The following are not available yet:

  • Premium packs with production billing and live checkout
  • Seller or publisher self-service listing tools
  • Open third-party marketplace without WorkCheats editorial review

See Import & Export, Export policy, and Core Workspace for related trust and billing notes.
