Troubleshooting

Fix common sign-in, access, billing preview, and import issues during closed beta.

This page covers common issues during WorkCheats closed beta. For bugs and product feedback, use Feedback & support. For account-specific problems, contact support at info@workcheats.com or Contact.

Login issues

Symptoms: Cannot sign in, password rejected, or redirect loops.

Try these steps:

  1. Confirm you are using the email address associated with your beta invite.
  2. Reset your password using the Forgot password link on the sign-in page.
  3. Clear browser cookies for the WorkCheats site and try again in a private window.
  4. Disable browser extensions that block cookies or scripts temporarily.
  5. If captcha or spam protection fails or loops, try another browser or disable aggressive privacy extensions temporarily — see Getting Started — Captcha.
  6. If the problem persists, email info@workcheats.com with your account email (not your password), or use Feedback & support.

See Getting Started for account creation basics. OAuth (Google / GitHub) uses the provider’s sign-in flow and does not use the WorkCheats password sign-up captcha path.

MFA issues

Symptoms: MFA code rejected, lost authenticator, or locked out after MFA setup.

  1. Ensure your device clock is synchronised — TOTP codes are time-sensitive.
  2. Try a backup code if your organisation provided one during MFA enrollment.
  3. Use another verified device if your account supports multiple factors.
  4. Contact info@workcheats.com for MFA reset — include your account email and organisation name.

Do not share MFA codes or backup codes in support tickets.

Missing access or beta grants

Symptoms: Signed in but sidebar areas are missing, Marketplace empty, or features unavailable.

During closed beta, access often depends on grants or overrides, not only billing:

  1. Confirm you are in the correct workspace (personal vs team) — see Core Workspace.
  2. Ask your team admin whether your account has the expected beta grant.
  3. Check whether you need a team invitation for shared workspace features.
  4. Email info@workcheats.com if you believe your invite was fulfilled but access is still missing.

Billing preview notes

Symptoms: Billing pages look confusing, plans seem wrong, or you expected payment to unlock features.

WorkCheats billing is not live during closed beta:

  • Public Pricing and any in-app billing area are preview-only — plan names, prices, and capabilities are provisional.
  • There is no live checkout, real payment, or subscription activation during closed beta.
  • Your effective features usually come from beta grants or overrides, not from completing a payment flow.
  • The Billing sidebar item may be hidden on your host.

Read the closed-beta notice on Core Workspace — Billing preview. Use Feedback & support or info@workcheats.com if access and billing preview copy do not match expectations.

Import errors

Symptoms: Package rejected, validation failed, preview empty, or confirm step blocked.

  1. Confirm the file is a valid WorkCheats package format — not a renamed archive or unrelated JSON.
  2. Re-read the validation message and fix structural issues before re-uploading.
  3. Use Preview to inspect contents before confirming writes.
  4. Resolve duplicate conflicts explicitly — do not force import if mapping looks wrong.
  5. Remember uploaded packages are untrusted — reject suspicious content.

Include your account email, workspace type (personal or team name), and a short description. Screenshots are helpful — do not include secrets, tokens, passwords, or full command output with sensitive data.
