Feedback & support
Send beta feedback, report bugs, and contact support safely during closed beta.
During closed beta, WorkCheats support capacity is limited. Use the channels below to report issues, share product feedback, or request help.
In-app feedback widget
When enabled for your environment, a floating BETA | Feedback button appears on authenticated workspace pages (/home/* — personal and team layouts).
It does not appear on public marketing pages, auth pages, in-app /docs, or admin routes.
How to use it
- Click BETA | Feedback to open the feedback panel.
- Drag the button or panel header to reposition — your position is remembered in the browser.
- Choose a type: Bug, Feedback, or Suggestion.
- Enter a title and message.
- Optionally attach one screenshot (PNG, JPEG, or WebP; max 2 MB).
- Submit. The current page path (without query or hash) is included automatically.
The panel stays open until you close it explicitly or press Escape. Clicking outside the panel does not dismiss it.
After you submit
Feedback is sent by email to the WorkCheats support inbox. There is no in-app ticket history during closed beta.
If submit fails, try again later or use the Contact page with the same details.
Feedback types
| Type | Use for |
|---|---|
| Bug | Something broken, error states, blocked workflows, install failures |
| Feedback | Confusing UX, copy issues, missing polish, “this felt wrong” |
| Suggestion | Feature ideas, workflow improvements, Marketplace content requests |
For security concerns (suspected data exposure, auth bypass, unsafe rendering), mark urgency in the title and use Contact if the widget is unavailable. Do not post exploit details in public channels.
Useful bug report checklist
Help the team fix issues faster:
| Include | Example |
|---|---|
| What you expected | “Install preview should show 12 commands” |
| What happened instead | “Preview showed 0 items and an empty list” |
| Steps to reproduce | Sign in → Marketplace → open listing → Install → Preview |
| Page or area | Marketplace install, onboarding, Settings, Templates export |
| Browser and device | Chrome on macOS, mobile Safari, etc. |
| Screenshot | Use the optional attachment for layout or error states |
| Timing | “Started after password reset” or “Only on team workspace” |
The widget automatically captures your signed-in email and workspace context server-side. You do not need to paste user IDs unless support asks for them.
What not to share
Treat all feedback fields and attachments as user-provided content. Never include:
| Do not send | Why |
|---|---|
| Passwords or MFA codes | Security risk; support will never ask for these |
| API keys, tokens, session cookies, or secrets | Could expose your accounts or client environments |
| Full command bodies, notes, reports, or package JSON | May contain sensitive operational or client data |
| Customer PII or credentials | Redact before screenshotting |
| Private keys or service credentials | WorkCheats does not need these for support |
If a screenshot might show sensitive content, crop or blur it before attaching. See Security & Responsible Use for broader content safety guidance.
Contact page fallback
Use Contact when:
- You need beta access and do not have an invite link
- The feedback widget is not visible on your host
- You have account or access questions that need a formal message
- Email delivery from the widget failed
The public contact form may use its own spam protection. That protection is separate from sign-up or sign-in captcha behaviour.
